Two twin sisters have shockingly discovered they have “only one bra” to fight over and have a “shared drawer” of underwear from which they both choose freely.
New York-based identical twins Brigette and Danielle Pheloung, 27, made the shocking revelation on the Gals on the Go podcast earlier this month while discussing what it was like growing up as identical twins.
The pair, who are both social media influencers, expressed how they “literally” share everything and, surprisingly, have divided the internet on where the relationship between the pair should draw the line.
“Wait, you want to know something crazy? I’m actually embarrassed to say this… We only have one bra,” Danielle said, shocking showrunners Brooke Miccio and Danielle Carolan.
“And we share underwear,” Brigette interjected, which was repeated by her sister to confirm.
“We only have one bra because we don’t wear bras, but every time we need a bra, we’re like, wait… and we’re fighting about it,” Danielle explained.
The pair were then asked which sister was lucky enough to wear a bra for the episode.
The Pheloung sisters revealed that they actually have two bras, one black and one nude, and it was a “rare” occasion that both were in use for the show.
However, they shared that they rarely wear black bras due to their clothing style, so they “basically” have one between them.
The sisters admit that listeners might think it’s “weird” and “weird as fk” for them to share underwear, but they’ve been doing it since high school.
While they were comfortable sharing their underwear, the show’s listeners were left baffled by their stunning confession.
“Ladies you could have kept this to your grave,” one user commented on a clip from the show on TikTok, but added that she is “still a fan”.
“I’m a twin and here to say that is absolutely outrageous to me. My twin and I don’t even hug, much less share our underwear. No. Straight to jail,” shared another.
“I am a twin and not. I understand but I could never”, wrote another.
While some found their confession disgusting, others shared that they could relate to the sisters.
“The same DNA!!! lol,” one user commented, while another added, “I’ve shared underwear with my twin too lol.”
“As a twin it’s so true we do the same thing we don’t have one we have multiples and then we just separate them,” added another.
“Me and my twin do the same,” wrote a fourth.
While the internet may have been torn about the twins sharing bras and underwear, the sisters didn’t seem to mind and even made a video, debunking the narrative.
The twins posted a TikTok on Friday in which they alluded to fighting over tan bras because one was leaving the apartment.
In the video, the sisters can be seen having a bra tug-of-war, which was synchronized to audio of an angry Abby Lee Miller yelling, “Get your finger out of my face!”
“How did you expect us to act the second we decided we were leaving each other,” they wrote in their post.
The pair boast a combined 725,000 followers on Instagram and regularly post content on other platforms, including TikTok and YouTube.
